Internship Description: 

BerinMade (www.berinmade.com ) is a multi-award winning wedding stationery company that is rapidly growing.

We are looking to add an intern to our team of creative talents to work alongside co-directors Erin and Ben, and their dedicated production team.

This internship is perfect for the individual who is looking to gain experience in starting their own design-related business; they will be able to learn the ropes and make contacts in weddings and beyond, as it offers the opportunity to work virtually with Ben and Erin on the day to day running of the small business, assisting them with a broad variety of tasks such as (but not limited to):

checking, packaging and sending printed products to clients
compiling sample packs & press packs
tracking media coverage
producing key blog content such as mood board and real wedding posts
organising and assisting with styling of photo shoots with other industry professionals
assisting with up-coming product launch
assisting with new product prototype
assisting with DIY projects to be published on other publications (optional)

The successful candidate:

is self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently from home
is organised, detail-orientated and responsible
has a positive, can-do attitude
is happy to do some repetitive tasks
is familiar with our brand, aesthetic and philosophy
has a love of design
is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (preferable)
has a love of hand-crafting, optional
has a keen eye for growing wedding trends and pulses of different creative areas
has a keen business acumen
must be able to travel to Central London once a week (week day or weekend, to be agreed)

The internship is unpaid; however we are able to offer the following benefits:

1 hour of mentorship per week with Creative Director Erin Hung, scope to be discussed.
Key contacts within the wedding industry, including editors, planners and other suppliers
Attending invitation-only key industry events (that coincide with the period of the internship)
employees discount on wedding and social stationery

Period:

4-6 weeks, starting as soon as possible.
10 hours a week working remotely
2 hour meeting at the studio per week, in Central London
